April put her own worm on the hook, Jason should be proud! I saw 2 snakes on the island behind her, I think one was a Copper Head. I tried to pick him up with a stick, but he got away in the water.
Caught 7 8-10 Blue Gills or as they say in the south "Bream". I cleaned them and we had them for dinner the next night.
Holly and April posing!
Monday, the BIG SHOPPING SPREE, the girls spent the day over at the Mall area. Good thing Jason and I didn't have to pay for all that stuff. Thanks Larry! - when are you going to send Jason and I on ours!
Holly's cool plates she picked up for $16:
The girls made cookies, and made me a snake cookie.
My new self propelled lawn mower, saves me from having to push the old one around.
I found land, this was an island we stopped at on our cruise Saturday. We made the trip to a restaurant down by the dam. It was about a 1 1/2 hour trip.
Holly and April on the island, sister bonding.
April was looking for rocks.
This was the girls swimming off the pontoon. The easy part was getting in the lake, the hard part was getting out. It took them about 20 min to finally get back on the boat. I guess we need to invest in a ladder for the pontoon.
Caught another turtle while fishing for catfish, these are my bait Steelers. They chew the bait off the hook and most of the time don't get hooked. This one was not so lucky.
Caught this boy after I took his fish he had caught to use for my catfish bait. Both turtles were caught in about 15 min of each other. I want Catfish, not all these darn turtles.
