These are pictures of the Ice Storm that hit SC on our Anniversary this year. We personally were without power for 2 full days and yet 3 days after the storm still thousands of people do not have power. Schools are closed for the 3rd day in a row due to Ice and lack of power.
On Day one we ventured into town to find half of Lexington without power. We desperately needed a source of heat and happened to get the last Kerosene heater at Lowes and Walmart. It was very difficult to keep Rambo and Lucky warm enough. On the first day the cage temperature dropped to 58 degrees and it really should not be much below 70. We had everything in one room for 2 days, the last picture shows the setup for the lizards.
Even though it was a disaster the Ice on the trees sure made for some really good pictures!
